Vaulter

This is the result of our module Branding and Visual Communication at Hyper Island. We acted as a agency for Vaulter, a concept about a bank for digital currencies that my fellow class mates came up with during the Concept Development module.

My role in this module was as a designer where I together with Amanda Jönsson designed the proposal for web and helped out with the logotype, brandbook and other tasks regarding the visual profile. The illustration in the logotype was drawn by Daniel Grönlund and typography by me.

Our brief in the project was to develop a visual profile for the idea, complete with logotype, copywriting, web and a campaign that ties it all together. The vaulter group wanted a profile for the company that didn’t resemble the usual stiff bank profile, but rather was more playful and was directed to a younger target group.

Therefor we came up with Vaulter, the chubby and kind robot that you see in the logotype beneath. He is represented in all versions of the logotype, and is also a alter ego for the company that gets his own personality and helps the customer keep track of their digital currencies.
